Some college graduates opt to become ministry interns while waiting for full-time employment, which sometimes takes a while in a developing country. Serving as a ministry intern allows graduates to get further ministry experience during the interval of time between graduation and finding their first job. But some interns use the opportunity to further investigate God’s calling for full-time service while continuing to hone their ministry skills. Ministry interns witness on campus, lead Bible studies, perform one-on-one follow up, mentor student leaders, lead training apartments and work in submission with the local ministry core team.
